Blue, underlined text

A hyperlink. Click the blue, underlined text to visit another topic or to display a definition or further information in a pop-up window. For example, if you click site license, you will see a pop-up definition. Click inside the pop-up definition to hide the pop-up window.

 

Note: Like the hyperlinks in your Web browser, hyperlinks that you have clicked turn purple.

Green, italicized text

An expanding, drop-down section. Click the green, italicized text to expand a section of additional details that may include further steps, screenshots, and other useful information. For example, click the following green, italicized text to view the initial Sanitizer screen, which appears after you reboot your machine and Sanitizer has detected your hard drives.

 

 

Note: Click the green, italicized text again to collapse the additional information.

Bold text

 

Menu selections or buttons and check-boxes that you are instructed to select or click, respectively, and also text you are instructed to type. For example: Click Open Project.
