How do I work with a .pinion file?

To open a .pinion file, you must have Pinion Receiver installed. If you do not have it, click the Get Pinion Receiver button on the lower left.

To view and work with the content from the .pinion file:

1.

Double-click the .pinion file that you received.

The Receive Secure Content dialog is displayed.

2.

Click Open to extract and view the secure file immediately.

Note: You may also click Save to extract the file without viewing it right away. Saved files are placed by default in the directory:

C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\MyDocuments\MyPinion\Received

When you want to view saved files, double-click the Pinion Receiver icon (green "P") in your systray and access the Received directory. Then double-click the file that you want to view. (The files in the Received directory have been extracted from their Pinion packages. Therefore they do not have the .pinion extension, but the extension that corresponds to the type of files they truly are.)
