Data Security

Products: Pinion Sanitizer

Estimates place the number of retired computers each year at a staggering 315 million. More than 70 percent of U.S. companies lease computer equipment that must be returned to the original manufacturer when the leasing agreement expires. If your company values its business information and any other sensitive data that could possibly exist on any PC, it is critical that you wipe the slate entirely clean before letting the PC out of your sight and into the unknown.

Sanitizer's Power and Flexibility

Pinion Sanitizer's simple and functional user interface allows IT professionals to choose custom overwrites to meet specific security requirements. Sanitizer's Sector Viewer displays the overwrite data in real-time. The detailed audit reports are highly customizable.

Sanitizer overwrites a hard drive back-to-front, allowing you to save some data, should you change your mind after starting the process. You may pause Sanitizer midstream to make changes on the go, monitor the overwrite process, or stop it entirely.

Sanitizer's overwrite verification system continuously monitors the disk to ensure that all data on the hard drive is wiped clean entirely. During the overwrite process, Sanitizer identifies bad sectors and lists them in the audit reports so that you are informed before re-assigning, returning, or otherwise disposing of the machine.
