inion Receiver is your window into the world of secure content. Just like Adobe Reader allows people to view portable document format (PDF) files, you may think of Pinion Receiver as a reader-type application for secure content. But unlike Adobe Reader, Pinion Receiver lets you view and work with secure content in the file’s native application. Pinion Receiver also creates unique authentication credentials that let you enter into trusted relationships with originators of secure content.
Whether the secure content is a CAD file, a complex Excel spreadsheet, or any other business or technical file, Pinion Receiver lets you view and work with the content in the content's native application environment.
Pinion Receiver is freely distributed. It allows intended recipients to work with content that has been secured with any Pinon Software security product. Click here to download a brochure on Pinion Receiver.
How Pinion Receiver Works
Pinion Receiver is all about working with and viewing secure content in a controlled environment. Secure content originates with a content owner, a person who uses a Pinion Software product to secure a file or files and assign them a set of permissions that limit what the recipient may or may not do with the content. After content owners create secure content, they may send it to you by way of a link, an attachment, or by any other distribution method.
As a recipient, when you double-click a secure file, Pinion Receiver creates the controlled environment that allows you to work with the content to the extent allowed by the content owner.
Pinion Receiver is Absolutely Free
Pinion Receiver is freely available to anyone who wants to do business securely. Click the Get Pinion Receiver button on the left to download Pinion Receiver without any restrictions. Pinion Receiver runs unobtrusively and transparently. With Pinion Receiver, you may enter into trusted partnerships and guarantee that your partners' intellectual property and proprietary information remains secure and protected while you work with it.
Note: Pinion Receiver requires Windows XP (Home or Professional Editions), or Windows 2000 with Service Pack 4 and Roll-up 1.
